Due to heavy rainfall in Chiba Prefecture, Chiba University Medical Mycology Research Center has sustained damage to its building, and its electrical systems are currently out of service.
As a result, the following services will be suspended until further notice:
・New requests for the provision of fungal and actinomycete strains received on or after August 17, 2026
・Identification services
・General deposit services
Protozoa remain available for distribution as usual.
We will announce the resumption of these services once the facility has been restored.
